Activation of our Pandemic Crisis Management Plan
Yes, we can design and execute new projects.
As of 12th March, we activated our "Pandemic Crisis Management Plan", which covers the whole company, our laboratories, quality services, IT infrastructure, human resources and logistics in order to guarantee the implementation of our service, in compliance with any additional instructions that the health authorities may decide.
Measures taken to protect our staff
- Our IT systems are designed to sustain a remote workforce.
- For our work-from-home situation people, we have suspended all travels to headquarter and encourage the use of virtual conferencing solutions as travelling remains an issue.
- Web or video-conferences are to be set-up instead of physical meetings to ensure the smooth continuity of our appropriate relationship.
Protection of our staff using public transportation
People using public transport will have at their disposal FFP1 masks or equivalent as well as latex gloves.
Protection of our staff inside the company
The strict application of the following rules aims to protect employees as much as possible from contamination by a colleague from work on sites
On company premises, it is necessary to rigorously apply barrier actions and instructions associated for their own protection and those of others: hand washing with hydroalcoholic gel, no physical contact, maintaining a distance between people, sneezing in his sleeve, using disposable tissues, regular hand washing with soap or hydroalcoholic gel
In the event of symptoms appearing at the workplace, the employee immediately makes himself known to the HRD. They must wear a mask and leave the site. They must then apply the health instructions of the Ministry of Health.
The surveillance unit is informed every day of the information received and individual monitoring of employees is implemented work by human resources
Protection of our staff ouside the company
We strongly recommand to follow the instructions of the health authorities (https://www.gouvernement.fr/infocoronavirus) and as follows:
- If I have no symptoms and have not had close contact with a COVID-19 case, I apply the barrier gestures and I reduce my outings to the bare essentials: work (or telework), shopping, doctor.
- If I have no symptoms but have had direct contact or live with someone with COVID-19 outside of society: I isolate myself at home, I strictly reduce my outings except for food supplies, I apply the barrier actions, I take my temperature twice a day and I self-monitor the symptoms of the disease, I work from home if my job allows it. In this case, I do not go to my work site and I immediately inform the Human Resources.
- In all cases, in the event of a medical consultation, request a work stoppage which you will send by email to Human Resources.
- If employees think they are at risk, they can now login, without going through their employer or their attending physician, on the French site "www.declare.ameli.fr" to request to be put on sick leave for an initial duration of 21 days (this judgment can be declared retroactively Hu the date of Friday, March 13). A work stoppage will be issued to them on this basis, once the necessary checks have been carried out by the Medical Insurance Medical Service. The employee will notify the Human Resources department as soon as possible to allow the company to assess the consequences on the organization of work for the duration of the stoppage.
The intent of our Pandemic Crisis Management Plan is to keep all 3 sites – (1 site may become a back-up of another e.g Montreal for Dijon) in continuous service through limiting covid-19 infection by implementing hygiene rules on a individual & team basis, monitored daily by an internal surveillance body to update the plan & rules.
Oncodesign will not shut unless instructed to do so by the relevant regulatory body.
The following financial terms are applied:
- in the event that a study should be interrupted, the client will be billed in due proportions for the work carried out along with the incurred expenses.
- in the event that a study should be put on hold, billing will also be put on a hold accordingly.
